By creating a Buddy OS account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service. It's a simple as that.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Buddy OS after changes means you accept the new terms.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you're under 16, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
Buddy OS is an AI-powered productivity platform. Buddy acts as your persistent AI partner — remembering context, handling tasks, and helping you get things done.
Buddy OS is a tool. How you use it is your responsibility. We don't control what you ask Buddy to do, what files you share, or what decisions you make based on Buddy's input.
You agree NOT to use Buddy OS to:
Your content: You own everything you create, upload, or share through Buddy OS. We don't claim any ownership over your conversations, files, or data.
Buddy OS content: The Buddy OS platform, trademarks, logos, and original design elements are owned by Buddy OS / Raccooned. You don't get to copy or use them without permission.
AI-generated content: Content generated by Buddy (text, code, summaries, etc.) is yours to use as you see fit, subject to these terms.
Buddy OS operates on a credit-based system:
If your account is suspended or terminated for violation of these terms, we don't owe you a refund.
Buddy OS is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.
We are not liable for:
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Buddy is an AI — sometimes it makes mistakes, gives outdated information, or produces imperfect output. Buddy OS is not a substitute for professional advice in areas like law, medicine, or finance. Use your judgment, and when in doubt, verify.
Buddy OS may link to external websites or integrate with third-party services (like Stripe for payments). We don't control those services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Buddy OS at any time. We'll give reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.
You can cancel your account anytime through the dashboard or by emailing hello@raccooned.com. We'll retain your data for 30 days after cancellation, then delete it permanently (unless required otherwise by law).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll try to notify you first, but can't guarantee it in all cases.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, EU. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
